The women in my field are the cream of the crop and seriously no joke. I got to the race and warmed up on the trainer for about 15 minutes, then I did one lap on the course and the hill felt easy. My mindset was that I wanted to be the first to the first down hill and 90 degree turn. We pull up to the start line and the announcer says go, but he then clarified that he was talking to the lead car.
